A small estate community is a design problem that neither single-home work nor tower work prepares you for. Each residence has to feel private and individual to the family that buys it, and the group has to read as one deliberate place from the street and from the air.
That means holding two things at once: a shared language of material, proportion and landscape that ties the community together, and enough variation inside each home that no owner feels they bought a unit.
At Villa Bello in Davie, Florida, that meant a curated estate community where each residence sits within a private, lushly landscaped master plan, with timeless architecture and modern function resolved across the whole site rather than house by house.

How is designing a community different from designing one house?
The community has to read as one place while each home has to feel individual. That requires a shared language of material, proportion and landscape across the site, with enough variation inside each residence that no owner feels they bought a unit rather than a home.
Do you design model homes?
Yes. A model home carries a different brief from a private residence: it has to communicate the standard of the community to a buyer who has not committed yet, while remaining a house someone could actually live in.
Can you work across several homes at once?
Yes, and it is usually more efficient than commissioning them separately. Procurement, material selection and lighting can be resolved once across the site rather than repeated per residence.
